The Durrer family and I go way back. Laura and I have known each other since we were babies. So when Laura asked me to take their family portraits I was thrilled. We immediately started brainstorming locations. In route to our original location, we drove by an abandoned house that was calling my name. It was perfect!
Inside the house, someone had spray-painted a hot pink heart…LOVE it!

August 25, 2009 - 1:50 pm - How in the heck did you get Nathaniel to look at the camera too? I love the one from the window, Dan & Riley are making similar faces, like father like son....and if you didn't tell me that the heart was already there I would have thought you organized it! Great photos. i will add some prints to the Durrer photos I have at my desk.....Thank you for sharing!
